For the Birds: An Exhibition Curated for The Hound

For the Birds: An Exhibition Curated for The Hound

We hosted another wondrous exhibition curated by our dear friend, artist and curator, Rodney Harder this summer: "For the Birds"

From unknown artists to renowned names like Mose Tolliver (Moset,) Toshi Yoshida and Elen Suz we had the privilege of hosting special pieces whose “birds” gave us the flight we needed to be somewhere else, at times, this past summer. Peter Edland’s ‘weight of (our) Oblivion’ study was especially poignant. Edland died in 2022 and in 2023, his work was featured in an exhibition at The Brooklyn Botanical Newcomers, in Brooklyn, NY with a painting titled “Those who transplant will sustain.”

Well, some of these special pieces are transplanting soon so we hope you'll come visit us to make sure to see them before they go. The fabric crows on branches are here to stay --- they are our crows.
